Psalm 119:65-72

Scripture: Psalm 119:65-72

Do good to your servant according to your word, O Lord.

Teach knowledge and good judgement, for I believe in your commands.

Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.

You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.

Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep your precepts with all my heart.

Their hearts are callous and unfeeling, but I delight in your law.

It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.

The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.

Feels like a huge shift in emotion today. A lot of thankfulness for God and His word today. No distress, no fear. Even when people are mocking.

Very simple today. Remember to be thankful for God’s Word. Even in the face of persecution and when I may just be having a bad day.

Thank you God for your Word. Lord continue to teach me, guide me and give me understanding of your ways. Help me not to be distracted by unbelievers and mockers, but have my eyes steadily fixed on You. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet. May I follow it without waivering.
